The focus is on strengthening women’s agency, leadership and participation in peacebuilding, rather than treating women only as beneficiaries.

It can include:

• Women’s leadership and participation in peace processes
• Peace education and conflict transformation
• Dialogue and solidarity among women
• Nonviolent communication and mediation skills
• Creating spaces for women to share experiences and develop collective responses
• Supporting women-led initiatives for peace and social cohesion
